Welcome to our dedicated Stratford FAQ section. Why can’t I book games for 2 guests?

Unfortunately we do not accept bookings for our games for less than 3 guests on off-peak days and less than 4 guests on peak days. If you would like to pay for only 2 guests you will have to come as a walk-in without a booking.

When is peak and off-peak?

Peak times are Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm and all day Saturdays and Sundays. We also operate peak pricing during the Christmas period, any major events or sporting events and on West Ham home game days.

What games do you have?

We offer ping pong, beer/prosecco pong, pool, interactive darts and karaoke. Please see prices https://www.thebatandball.com/lets-play/stratford.

What is your age policy?

We operate Challenge 25. Under 18’s are welcome in the venue up until 8pm – they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. From 8pm we operate an 18+ policy. You must provide a physical form of a valid government approved ID for entry. On Thursdays-Sundays and during special events from 6pm all ID will be scanned at the door on arrival.

My booking falls on a West Ham home game or major event at the London Stadium?

This means that we will be extremely busy on this date hosting West Ham fans. To ensure smooth service on the day all drinks will be served in plastic cups and we will not be serving cocktails. For the interest of safety, we do not allow entry to guests wearing the opposing team's shirt.

Is there disabled access?

Yes we have disabled access. We have an elevator, as well as a disabled toilet on the first floor.

Is there a door charge?

Nope! Entry is free all day unless we are hosting a special event which you can find on our https://www.thebatandball.com/whats-on/stratford.

How many ping pong tables will I get?

For groups of up to 20 guests, you will be allocated one ping pong table only.

How big is your karaoke booth?

Our karaoke booth can host up to 16 guests at a time. It is a private room powered by Lucky Voice with over 25,000 songs to choose from!

Do you show live sports?

Do you offer private hire and are there hire fees?

Yes we offer private hire. You can find out more information regarding our spaces https://www.thebatandball.com/party-bookings/stratford. We do not charge room hire fees, our private spaces are hired with a minimum spend requirement. Minimum spends vary depending on the time and date of booking. Do you have any packages and special offers?

Do you have outdoor seating?

Yes we have outdoor seating on both floors. Our upstairs balcony is covered and heated.

Do you have a dress code?

We operate a dress code policy from 7pm. Our policy is as follows: no tracksuit bottoms, sports shorts and gym wear; no hats; no tradesmen wear, reinforced boots, work boots or shoes. Please note during West Ham home games we allow West Ham shirts only, we do not allow shirts of the opposing team.

Do you have a cloakroom?

Unfortunately we do not have a cloakroom.

Do you have a DJ and a dance floor?

Yes we have a DJ and dance floor every Friday and Saturday from 8pm!

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Please inform the team prior to arrival so we can ensure we can cater to any dietaries. Please note due to the nature of our kitchen, we cannot 100% guarantee there is no risk of cross contamination.

Can we stay after the games?

Absolutely! We have seating and bar areas where you are more than welcome to move over to enjoy some food and drinks.

Can I smoke or vape in the outdoor space?

We do not allow smoking or vaping on our terrace or balcony. You will need to go to the Westfield designated smoking area.

Can I pre-order food and drink?

Absolutely, we highly recommend pre-ordering food and drink prior to arrival so that everything is ready and there is no hassle on the day. You can pre-order food and drink directly during the booking process, or via the link in your confirmation email.

Can I eat and play at the same time?

Yes – we offer lots of delicious finger food designed so that you can eat and play at the same time.

Can I bring other food and drink into the venue?

Unfortunately we do not allow external food and drink (with the exception of a cake).

Can I just walk-in and play?

We highly recommend booking in advance, but we do welcome walk-ins.

Can I bring a cake?

Yes you can! We will just need you to sign an external food disclaimer form on arrival.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes we are dog friendly up until 8pm.

Can I book multiple games?

Of course! We highly recommend booking these in advance to avoid disappointment.
